Asha Devi got married when she was 14. She got pregnant after 6 months of her marriage. Her first child survived for 6 days, she woke up next to a dead baby. She was pregnant two months later. Asha Devi's 2nd daughter survived for 9 months and later died due to prolonged fever. 3 months after her daughter died, Asha was pregnant again and within w months, she had spontaneous abortion. She was pregnant with Radha Kumari mandal who was acutely malnourished. Radha was admitted when she was 36 months old on October, 20th 2013. MUAC - 110 mm, Weight - 7 kg, Height - 75 cm. Radha was discharged on Dec 6, 2013 - her MUAC at the time of discharge was 128mm, Weight 8.8kg and height- 75.5 cm. She consumed 100 sachets of RUTF and gained 5gm/day while on the programme.
Rukmini, her second daughter was born a year after Radha was born. Rukmini was severely malnourished too. She was admitted on Feb 16th, 2014. Her MUAC was 119mm, weight - 11 kg, and height - 96 cm. Her third daughter Sharda is severely malnourished. Sharda is under RUTF.
Asha Devi is pregnant for the 7th time and is 6 months pregnant.
